Gleaning Coordinator Tekia Thompson has come in from the fields this winter and spring to help spread the word about reducing food waste, improving nutrition and feeding our hungry neighbors.
She, along with staff members and Yambassadors (the team that speaks, advocates and spreads the word about our mission), are excited to hit the streets to talk about ways our community can get involved in helping bring healthy food to hungry people in Greater Kansas City.
