Pre-planning is sometimes a luxury for us at After the Harvest since many things depend on the weather, what the farms have today and …it seems like a hundred variables! But we go with the flow because our mission is to feed hungry people…and that’s the nature of what we do. Can you spare some time tomorrow, Sept. 17, to go with the flow with us????
As we write this, tomorrow is looming over us…we are in real need of a driver to pick up watermelon and/or tomatoes in the late morning or early afternoon (after the rain), in Lone Jack. There is at least a pick-up truckload of watermelon…we’d hate for this to go to waste.
Also does anyone want to help us glean tomorrow afternoon, Sept. 17, 12:30-2:30 in KCK? We are making a video and would like to have a good turn out. We will be gleaning a variety of veggies.
