Harvest season continues this week for farmers donating produce to After the Harvest. See these opportunities to help glean food

  • Tuesday, August 5th 8:00 am in Lone Jack…..Corn and Tomatoes!!! We need 10 people to pick and transport!
  • Wednesday, August 6th, 8:00 am in North Kansas City, a smorgasbord of garden veggies. We need 10 people to pick and transport.
  • Thursday, August 7, 8:30 am in St. Joseph for Blackberries. We need as many people as possible for this….it may be the last of the blackberries this year! Tell your friends, neighbors, schools, and youth groups to join in the fun! Probably close to 800 lbs of fresh blackberries!
  • Friday August 8,….sign up now for mystery gleaning! Could be Edgerton, KCK, or Independence!
  • Saturday August 9, 8:30 am back to St. Joe for the last berries of the season.

Fill out a volunteer form to SIGN UP for a date YOU would like to work and we will make a gleaning happen for you. This works out best for everyone.
