ATH introduces volunteer ID stickers

There’s a sticky situation going on at After the Harvest these days. But it’s a good thing!

While our volunteers are known for their stick-to-itiveness when picking or picking up rescued produce for those in need, there has always been a challenge regarding identifying them so that everyone knows that they are ATH volunteers at work in the community.

So now, we’re proud to say that all of our ongoing Produce Rescue Drivers will all be equipped with bumper stickers and vehicle clings that make it clear what they are up to! The “Rescued Produce On Board” messaging and ATH logo make their on-site mission clear and let our grower donors and others feel secure that the rescued produce is in good hands and going to a good place.

As for our field gleaners, they’ll now sport a sticker that applauds them for their good work, but also indicates to our Gleaning Coordinators and others that they are a part of our gleaning group. The sticker message is “Gleaning For Good” with an ATH logo. There is also a hashtag reminder—#gleaningforgood—in hopes that they’ll share their experience in the field with their social media followers, who might just join in on a gleaning themselves to help those in need.
