Virtual Produce Rescue Driver Training @ Virtual
May 1 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Virtual Produce Rescue Driver Training @ Virtual

We receive a lot of fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables from generous farmers and need drivers like you to help us deliver them to food agencies in our community.

We’ve added several new farmers markets this year and will be picking up donated produce at the following markets: Parkville, Brookside, City Market, Overland Park, Lenexa, Merriam, Lee’s Summit, Unity Village.

We also receive calls from farmers who have already harvested extra produce and just need a driver to take it to a nearby food pantry.

Join our Produce Rescue Driver team! Please attend this training if you would like to be part of our cool crew rescuing, delivering, and getting healthy food to those who are experiencing hunger.

This training will be virtual. Please sign up here.

After the Harvest, Premier Integrative Health and Compost Collective KC are collaborating for a one-of-a-kind Kansas City community event at Loose Park!

We invite you and your friends to join us for an outdoor screening of WASTED! The Story Of Food Waste produced by Anthony Bourdain. This wildly entertaining and educational documentary exposes the criminality of food waste and how it’s directly contributing to climate change, food scarcity and the degradation of our soils. WASTED! demonstrates how each of us can make small changes – all of them delicious – to solve one of the greatest problems of the 21st Century.

Through the eyes of famous chefs, you will see how they make the most of every kind of food, transforming what most people consider scraps into incredible dishes that create a more secure food system. Make plans to join us and register here.

We are hosting this collaborative event to educate you on new ways to support your community and discover what you can do to contribute to a more sustainable and symbiotic food system!

We create a partnership with our patients to help them achieve their health goals and live the best life they can.
