Potatoes, onions and corn next Tuesday!

Or help rescue on other upcoming dates…lots of gleanings open. Glean again or for the first time!

This is the time of year when there’s usually lots of produce available to rescue (thank you generous farmers and growers), but we don’t have enough gleaners to harvest it all. Mariah, Emily and our gleaning crew need your help!

Tue., July 25, 7-10 a.m.–Gleaning corn, potatoes, onions at a farm near Edgerton, KS. Just 30 min. from Olathe at a beautiful farm.

Tue., July 25, 7:30-10:30 a.m.–Gleaning corn at a garden in a country setting near Paola, KS. A lovely 35 min. drive from Overland Park. These folks plant just for ATH and to feed hungry people.

We still need 18 more volunteers for two gleanings Thursday, July 27! Can you help us make sure this produce doesn’t go to waste?
