GROWING PARTICIPATION, AWARENESS AND SUPPORT.
Addressing a community need requires a community effort. After the Harvest events are a great way to engage, learn about food waste, sign up volunteers, build awareness, take part in training or enjoy an evening out. Whether you have a favorite event or just want to do more to enjoy the friendship of others who share your passion for providing healthy food for hungry people, come join us.
To sign up for specific gleanings and market pick-ups from May through November, go to our Volunteer Calendar on the Gleaning Sign-up page.

About the Kansas City Food Circle™:
The Kansas City Food Circle™ connects local farmers with wholesale buyers, chefs, artisans who are vital to our region’s local food system. Together we create rich experiences to help people connect with amazing food, to educate them on where their food comes from, and to meet the farmers who grow it all. KC Healthy Kids began managing core Food Circle programs in 2020. For more information Rachel McGinnis, director of KC Healthy Kids’ Farm to Institution initiatives, firstname.lastname@example.org

Calling all burrito lovers, taco lovers, queso lovers or lovers of all things Chipotle!
Make your dinner plans now for our After the Harvest fundraiser to help rescue more healthy produce to feed more hungry people in our area. We have a goal of $300 to get 33% of the $ on our orders, so let’s eat, drink and give to those in need! Remember, you have to let the the cashier know that your order is a part of the After the Harvest fundraiser for us to get credit. Online or in-app orders do not apply. Guac on!!
Note: You can use Chipotle Catering to help with this fundraiser: A typical catering order costs about $300. Just call 1-800-CHIPOTLE to place your order (at least 24 hours in advance) to be picked up during the timeframe of your fundraiser and let them know that you want to pay upon pickup. When you pick up your order, alert the cashier before payment that you would like it to count towards the ATH fundraiser. And just like that, 33% goes back to ATH!
We’re walking together to help nourish our hungry neighbors and at the finish line…wine! What could be better than that?
Join the After the Harvest team—or run ahead of the pack if you like!—as we meet up and then drink in the fresh, country air and beautiful rolling hills around Fence Stile Vineyards and Winery.
–If you belong to a faith congregation or civic organization, sign up as a group/team and walk with us.
