Spring is here and gleaning season is right around the corner! Reserve your date now to join us on the farm from mid-May through November

Help After the Harvest rescue produce in farmers’ fields that would otherwise go to waste for those in need. Sign up now for future gleanings. Listings may say “produce gleaning,” instead of, say, “apple gleaning”, which means we’ll be gleaning, but don’t yet know what will be ready to harvest on which farm within 30-45 minutes of KC. ATH is now hiring two Gleaning Coordinators to lead and assist with the logistics of gleanings at local farms and orchards this growing season. Check out this great opportunity for the right nature-loving and people-oriented individuals who want to make a difference in our community.

Please contact Sandy Vivian at 816-921-1903 or sandy@aftertheharvest if you have questions about volunteering.
