Hope Faith Ministries offers numerous services to the homeless and less fortunate from a 47,000-square-foot building at 705 Virginia Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
The agency serves more than 800 meals a day and helps more than 700 people with clothing and personal hygiene products every week. Hope Faith Ministries also provides haircuts and grooming services, home furnishings, and more.
It operates a day center in collaboration with several other agencies to offer services that will empower clients to move from dependence to independence. Also available are two transitional houses where clients who have demonstrated high levels of responsibility and behavior can live under strict rules and prepare to be successful on their own.
Volunteers at Hope Faith Ministries do everything from food preparation and laundry services to warehouse and office work, barber and hair salon services and even dance, drama, music and games direction.
