After the Harvest is celebrating nine years, and taking an opportunity to reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together along the way.
If you’d like to help with food rescue operations, you can volunteer to participate in gleaning. This involves going out to farms, orchards, and other sites where fresh food is grown and harvesting it to be distributed to those in need. This helps to ensure that food that would otherwise go to waste is put to good use.
This Black History Month, we celebrate the remarkable story of Pearl Family Farm, and are proud to recognize the incredible strength of Black farmers throughout the nation. We will continue to partner with Michael and the Pearl Family Farm in our mission to provide fresh, healthy food to the our community.
