After the Harvest’s Strawberry Day 2023 was a resounding success! Thanks to the generous donation of 3 pallets of fresh strawberries from Driscoll’s Berries, a total of 2,880 pounds of the sweet and juicy fruit were distributed to 31 different agencies across 25 different zip codes in the 5 county area (Jackson, Clay, Platte, Johnson, and Wyandotte). Despite the event being postponed for a month due to mudslides and flooding in California, our dedicated staff, volunteers, and agency partners worked tirelessly to make sure these berries got into the hands of those who need them most.
