In an extraordinary demonstration of generosity, our community rallied together to achieve a grand total of $57,649.61 raised in our recent end-of-year fundraising campaign. This success is a testament to the collective efforts of our team and the enduring belief in our mission by our incredible supporters.
Last week, ATH had the privilege of participating in the annual Fall Festival at Gladstone Elementary School in November. This heartwarming event brought together families, students, and local organizations to celebrate the spirit of giving and community. ATH’s role at the festival was to provide fresh, nutritious produce to families in need. With up to 200 families expected at the Fall Festival, it was a day filled with teamwork and compassion.
As the fall season settles in and the gleaning season winds down, ATH continues its unwavering commitment to rescuing fresh produce and combating food waste. Year to date, our team has exceeded an incredible milestone, rescuing over 950,000 pounds of fresh produce. We’re on track to surpass 1 million pounds by November, marking a remarkable achievement in our ongoing mission.
At this year’s KC Foodie Fest, Autumn MorningSky and Carole Jo Bradley proudly held the After the Harvest banner, joining the vibrant culinary celebration.
