Sandy Vivian

SANDY VIVIAN, Communications Director

Sandy Vivian is passionate about After the Harvest’s mission and growing the organization to bring more fresh produce to our hungry neighbors. Originally an After the Harvest volunteer, she works to spread the word about After the Harvest.

Sandy graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan., where she majored in communication arts with an emphasis in journalism. She has worked as director or manager in marketing, advertising, event planning and promotions for advertising agencies, radio stations, Adam’s Mark Hotel, Hardee’s regional and ShowBiz Pizza corporate and many freelance clients. She has also built her own small food-related business.

Sandy has volunteered many hours for a variety of causes — most related to hunger relief. In her downtime, she likes preparing fresh vegetables from her trips to the farmers market. She also enjoys spending “floatie time” at Nine-Acre Lake and traveling with her husband, Dean.
