LISA OUSLEY, Executive Director
Founding Executive Director Lisa Ousley has helped After the Harvest to become the largest local produce donor to Harvesters — The Community Food Network, as well as area shelters, food pantries and community kitchens. It’s the perfect fit for someone who has been committed to hunger relief throughout her career. Prior to her work at After the Harvest, Lisa was the director of western headquarters for the Society of St. Andrew, a program that she also founded. That operation provided more than 15 million pounds of fresh produce in six years to food agencies west of the Mississippi River, primarily in Kansas and Missouri.
Lisa’s other nonprofit work includes Foodchain — The National Food-Rescue Network, and many years of volunteer and pro bono communications and media services work for hunger-relief organizations. She began her career as a newspaper reporter and worked in corporate communications, public affairs and media organizations.
